Dr Karl James, the Head of Military History at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, will discuss the variety of activities undertaken by the Memorial's historians including our contribution to developing the exhibitions for new Anzac Hall.

    Dr

    Dr Karl James is the Head of Military History at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. His research has focused on Australia’s experience during the Second World War and, more recently, on Australia’s commitment to the conflict in Afghanistan. He is the concept developer for the forthcoming exhibition Kandahar Workhorse: Chinooks, 2006–2013. Karl has published three books on Australian military campaigns in the Second World War and contributed to other publications. He has also curated several permanent and temporary exhibitions at the Australian War Memorial.
