The AIIA ACT Branch is excited to host Ms Anna-Maria Arabia, the Chief Executive of the Australian Academy of Science who will address the topic of Australia's Role in International Science Cooperation. Ms Arabia will discuss the establishment of the International Science Council Regional Focal Point for Asia and the Pacific and the role the Australian Academy of Science will play in hosting the Regional Focal point for the next five years. She will discuss the Asia-Pacific Regional Focus Point's functions and ambitions as well as the ways in which global science systems are evolving (or need to evolve) to enable solutions for sustainability.
